The Love Story

It was in 2007 when Mel and Tim first met at Rolf's Holiday home in Anglesea. Tim was there through mutual friends. And Mel remembers she didn't even say a word to him the whole weekends aside from offering him a Jägerbomb on their last night together. She reckons she wasn't interested in the slightest but a tiny little Spock there. They hadn't talked to again for a few months when they found themselves at a bar called Barry's celebrating a mutual friend's birthday. According to Amelia, it was gay night, and she turned Tim straight. Regardless of Tim's preferences at the time, they instantly hit it off. They drank, danced and started giving each other silly little dance to complete for fun.

The conversations and dares continued over the following weeks on MySpace. And the dares continued until the witty Tim suggested a dare that would end up changing his life: "I dare you to give me your number." The rest is history.

Their lives have to been included with ups and downs. But they just get through whatever life throws at them. And they do it with each other's best interests always at heart.

The proposal wasn't simple. Mel had a whole file dedicated to the engagement ring on Tim's computer at home, ensuring he knew the right one to get. It really put a spin on the proposal plans.

The Wedding

Amelia and Tim originally planned an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, but the rain couldn't hold off.

So they had their romantic ceremony inside the gorgeous Chapel instead.

The newlyweds have meticulously selected each and every one of the most important people in their lives to share the intimate moment.

Meeting with this lovely couple was like taking a breath of fresh air. There's nothing but a really modest relationship. Mel didn't see the wedding as a show about themselves, but rather a special day of making a 10-year relationship into a lifetime commitment. And above all, they were there to get their two-family and friendship groups together in the one place to mingle, laugh hug, eat, drinks and dancing to the night.

Wedding Photography

It was a great time for us to photo and film this super photogenic couple.

The rain didn't actually bother them much. Mel and Tim were so laidback and laughing all the time, and directions were barely needed.

The photos turned out really natural and fun, which reflects their real personalities.

The rain actually helped a lot with the result of their wedding photos. The mists brought out colours and contrasts from the grass and leaves, also adding a lot of mood to the pictures.

The sun came out the last minute, so we were lucky to have the opportunity to seal the portraits with some fantastic sunset photos.
